Why rest is important when you’re tired?

Last Friday I had a scary experience. I was working as always, all of a sudden I got dizzy. I thought it will past so I didn’t pay attention but later on when I was bending to get a bottle of water I was feeling again dizzy and also a heavy sensation on my head. I told a friend and she told me, please go home. Another friend saw me she said Hilda go to see the nurse. She went with me.I asked her, because I was afraid to past out on my way to the nurse office.
The nurse saw me and she found my blood pressure a little higher, usually mine is always perfect. It surprised me and she recommended to not go back to work and see my doctor right away.
I coud’nt believe my blood pressure was high. Me never! I always presume to be heathy.
I ended up having many test and the recommendation to take it easy and stop working until I got the Results.
I wanted to go to the botton of this because I know is more than the symptoms. what is causing this?
I know Stress is one of them. usually I don’t have stress at home, I’m blessed to have a great family and do what I love .
Stress its bad for us even if is for just a few moments it can raise our blood pressure, but when it happens every day it will make a mess with our blood pressure and cause our heart rate go faster.
Work, pause, breath, relax

-Massage

-Sleep * Bed time schedule
-Diet
-Organize* organization offer a natural sense of control and peace of mind.
Not having enough sleep is not good for our body, I was having 3 to 4 hours of sleep lately because at night time I got to involved on what I love it , Even if I was napping in the afternoon , it wasn’t the same that having a good great 7 to 8 hours sleep at night time.
Did I know that ?
I did but I thought just eating healthy will help and it does but you need the 7 to 8 hours of sleep at least to recovery the energy you loose in the day.
Being off from work is very unusual for me, I don’t usually have this time off until now.
I rested all day yesterday. I watched TV after many months. I almost forget what TV is.
I have great news my blood test results were okay, now Waiting on my appointment for my stress test.
I can’t drink coffee for now, which really hard because I love my morning coffee. This is my second day.
I’m using Cafit which is a powder drink that taste like coffee.
What I learned from this experience is to be more careful with my body, to rest more often, to be more organize, I don’t have to do many things at the same time.
I have to choose by priorities.
A good amount of sleep is very important and at the right time. Night times are for this.
I know I want to learn everything but I should pause when I need it. Also not to let stress from another people afected me. We can not change them but we can change the way we react.
I can resume this in a phase, I will do anything I dream, but first I need to take care of my body as the tool for everything.
Nothing is more precious that a healthy body and clear mind.
Here is a few reasons why Good sleep is important

– when you sleep less you tent to eat more.
– When we sleep enough we can be more focus and performance better at work.
– Poor sleepers have a great risk of heart disease or strokes.
– It could affect our metabolism.
– Sleep improve our immune function.
Hope my story is helpful, specialy in this days that most of us, moms we’re always running daily. Pause and stop is okay, we alldeserve it.
