Makeup brushes cleaning methods
Not knowing how to clean makeup brushes is not good. I remembered started using more makeup a year ago. Before that I didn’t know about Makeup Foundation, Concealer, Bronzer and many more. I used to have a Eyeliner, a Mascara and a Lipstick.
Using more products required more brushes, different sizes and forms.
I make mistakes soaking them in hot water trying to cleam them. What happens when you do that. I was allowing the water get inside of the part that whole the brush bristles , which was not good because I started to loose the consistency of the bristles.
When you use regulary anything you have to clean often. With makeup tools is not the exception.
Makeup brushes has dust, old makeupand oil from our skin.
Bacteria inside them can cause skin problems like breakouts and contaminate makeup.
Frequent cleaning helps with the dirt and bacteria.
I personal wash mine every other day, specially the ones you use for Foundation and Concealer.
There are antimicrobial cleanser for this purpose or and you can wash them frequently with water and a mild soap.
I really recommended to use a soap like Mrs Meyer’s dish soap because is made without Parabens or artificial ingredients.

This are the steps I use to wash them.
1- Wash your hands.
2- Wet only the Bristles under warm water
.
3- in a small container place a little water and soup and gentle put the part of the bristles in the shampoo mix. One at the time each brush, rubber them on the palm of your hand back and for like you’re painting.
4- rinse well under warm water until there’s not makeup residue in the rinse water
5 you can use after wash them a little hair condition to leave them soft and rinse them out.
6- Shake excess of water and let the air dry by laying them on a towel but in and position that let the water inside the bristles go out.
For this put the towel in a way it has a little pillow and put the handle of the brushes there.
Other tools you use like sponges, Eyelashes Curler you have to wash them at least once a week.
